I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois who works with adults (18+) who are navigating anxiety, trauma and life transitions. Many of my clients seek support during the perinatal period or at other pivotal moments in life, including early adulthood, relationship stress, parenthood, aging or times of loss.
I approach therapy collaboratively, using a relational and trauma-informed style that draws from attachment-based, body-informed and cognitive therapies. That means together we pay attention not only to thoughts and emotions, but also to relationship patterns and the ways stress and past experiences show up in the body.
I have advanced training in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International as well as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, a body-centered form of talk therapy that addresses cognitive, emotional and physical symptoms of trauma.
